A K-2 Visa is a request to bring the dependents of a K-1 Fiancee Visa applicant to the U.S.  The K-2 Visa request is part of the K-1 Visa application. 

A K-4 Visa is a request to bring the dependents of a K-3 Spousal Visa applicant to the U.S.  The K-4 Visa request is part of the K-3 Visa application.

The K-2 and K-4 Visas are often called the Dependent Visas, because the applicants must be the legal dependents of a foreign fiancee or spouse of a U.S. Citizen.  The success of the K-2 or K-4 visa depends almost entirely on the succes of the underlying K-2 or K-4 visas.  So, it is impotant that you retain a skilled and knowledgeable immigration atttorney to help you with your family visa applications.

    K2 Visa Requirements:

    1. The foreign child is the child of the foreign fiancée.

    2. The foreign child is under 21 years old and unmarried.

    K4 Visa Requirements:

    1. The foreign child is the child of the foreign spouse.

    2. The foreign child is under 21 years old and unmarried.

    3. The U.S. citizen petition and foreign spouse have a valid marriage.
